Droit de rétractation
Fourteen days, no reason required, no penalty. This page explains the one exception that applies to a digital service, and carries the standard form.

The right
As a consumer buying at a distance you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from it, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty (articles L.221-18 et suivants du Code de la consommation).
To use it, tell us before the fourteen days are up. A clear statement is enough — an email saying you withdraw does it. You may use the form below but you are not obliged to.
The exception for digital services
This service is supplied digitally and immediately. Under article L.221-25, we may begin supplying it inside the fourteen-day period only if you give us two distinct things:
- I ask that the service begin immediately, before the end of the fourteen-day withdrawal period.
- I acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
At checkout these are two separate boxes. Neither is ticked in advance, neither is bundled into the other or into acceptance of the terms, and the server checks both again before an order is accepted — so ticking them in a browser is not what makes the order valid. Both are then repeated word for word in your order confirmation.
If you did not give both, or if the service has not been fully performed, your right of withdrawal is unaffected and runs the full fourteen days.
What happens then
We refund every sum you have paid within fourteen days of being told that you withdraw, using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree to another. No fee is charged for the refund.
Where you asked for the service to begin immediately and then withdraw before it has been fully performed, you owe an amount proportionate to what was supplied up to the moment you told us, calculated on the total price of the contract.
