Conditions générales de vente
These terms govern paid subscriptions to Mendline. They are written to be read, and the clauses that cost you something are on the cool cards.

Who is selling, and what
Mendline is a digital service operated by JANNA, 288 Cours Lafayette, 69003 Lyon, France. The full identification of the seller is published in the mentions légales.
What is sold is access to a software service that presents possible repair approaches for a damaged garment, generated from photographs you supply. Nothing physical is sold or delivered. No repair is carried out, no repairer is recommended, no quotation is given, and no materials or tools are sold or recommended.
These terms apply to consumers as defined by the French Consumer Code. They apply from the moment you place an order and are accepted at that point.
Plans, prices and taxes
Three plans are offered and nothing else. Prices are displayed TTC — toutes taxes comprises, all taxes included — in US Dollars (USD). The price shown at checkout is the price charged; no tax, handling charge or fee is added afterwards.
- Free — $0 per month, all taxes included, 50 allowance per month.
- Stitch — $11 per month or $106 per year, all taxes included, 450 allowance per month.
- Atelier — $32 per month or $307 per year, all taxes included, 1700 allowance per month.
We may change our prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for. You are told of a change before it takes effect and may cancel before it does.
Automatic renewal, and how to stop it
A paid subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for a further period of the same length, at the same price, until you cancel it. The amount, the period and the renewal are stated on the checkout page before you commit, and repeated in the confirmation message sent to you at the time of the order.
You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancelling takes one step. No reason is asked, nothing is offered to persuade you to stay, and there is no telephone call to make. Your plan continues to work until the end of the period you have already paid for and does not renew after that.
The route to cancel is at least as short as the route to subscribe. If you cannot reach your billing page for any reason, an email to support@jannaclothing.com saying that you wish to cancel is sufficient and takes effect on the day we receive it.
The monthly allowance
- The monthly allowance is a usage allowance for this service and nothing else.
- It is not money, not a stored balance and not a voucher. It has no cash value.
- It cannot be refunded, exchanged, redeemed or transferred to anyone.
- It does not carry over. Whatever is unused at the end of a period is gone.
- There is no way to buy extra allowance. If you need more, you move to a larger plan.
The allowance is a measure of how much of the service you may use in a period. It is not a currency, not a voucher, not electronic money and not a deposit. It is stated here because it is the term most often misunderstood.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying at a distance you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without giving a reason and without penalty. The withdrawal page explains how, and carries the standard withdrawal form.
Because this is a digital service, we can begin supplying it inside that period only if you expressly ask us to and separately acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed (art. L.221-25 du Code de la consommation). Those are two distinct confirmations, presented as two separate boxes at checkout, neither of them ticked in advance, and both are repeated in your order confirmation.
If the service has not been fully performed, your right of withdrawal is unaffected and runs the full fourteen days.
Refunds and disputed charges
If you exercise your right of withdrawal in a case where it applies, we refund every sum you have paid within fourteen days of being told, by the same means you used to pay, unless you agree otherwise. No fee is charged for this.
If the service does not work as described, or you are charged an amount you did not agree to, write to support@jannaclothing.com. We answer within two business days. Where a charge was taken in error we refund it in full; we do not offer credit in place of a refund and we do not require you to accept one.
Outside those cases, sums already paid for a period that has begun are not refunded when you simply choose to stop using the service — your subscription continues to the end of that period instead.
Legal guarantee of conformity
Nothing in these terms excludes, limits or restricts the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-1 et suivants du Code de la consommation) or the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et suivants du Code civil). Those guarantees apply to digital content and digital services and they apply here in full, whatever else this document says.
If the service is not in conformity, you may require it to be brought into conformity and, where that is not done within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to you, obtain a reduction in price or the resolution of the contract.
What we do not promise
The images and sequences produced by this service are illustrations of possible repair approaches. They are not photographs of your finished garment. The actual result depends on your skill, the thread you use and the true condition of the fibres — none of which this service knows. No assurance is given that following what is shown will produce the result previewed.
Some approaches cannot be undone, and are marked as such by a shape and a word wherever they appear. If you work on a garment yourself, you do so on your own responsibility and you bear the risk of damaging it. This is set out further in the terms of use and the AI notice.

Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Nothing in them deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they habitually reside.
If any clause of these terms were found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue to apply. No clause here is intended to create a significant imbalance between the parties to the detriment of the consumer, and any clause that had that effect would be void by operation of article L.212-1 du Code de la consommation.
