Partial conformity, stated honestly. Here is what has been done, what has not, and how to reach a person when something does not work for you.

Where we stand
JANNA aims for this site to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. At the date of this statement, conformity is partial: the site has been built against the criteria and checked by its authors, but has not been audited by an independent third party. Saying it is fully conformant would be a claim we cannot evidence.
What has been done
- No meaning is carried by colour alone. Whether a repair can be undone is shown by a shape and a word; colour only repeats what they already say. The page works printed in black and white.
- Body text meets or exceeds a contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background; large display text exceeds 3:1.
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring that is not suppressed anywhere.
- A skip link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Headings are in order and used for structure rather than size.
- Images that carry information have alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- The stress-point map is an SVG with a text description of every marker.
- Videos have no audio track, so no captions are required; step captions are real text laid over the picture, not burnt into the frame.
- Text reflows at 320 CSS pixels wide and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Motion is limited to short transitions, and all of it is disabled for anyone whose system asks to reduce motion.
- Form fields have persistent labels, and errors are described in text next to the field rather than by colour or position.
Known to be imperfect
- The rail navigation sets its labels vertically on wide screens. Each one carries a full-length accessible name, but a magnifier user reading the visible text will see the short form.
- Repair previews are photographic. Their alternative text describes what the repair is, but a photograph of a textile surface cannot be fully conveyed in a sentence.
- The site has not been tested with every combination of browser and screen reader.
